In obikui we love WordPress. We think it's one of the most powerful platforms for delivering content, and not only for blogs.

One of the best features of this CMS are the plugins. Here, we've created a free plugin and we want to share it with you, hoping to update and upgrade it, specially if the huge WordPress community, ask for more features and get interested in obikui Slideshow Widget, a plugin featuring a widget that shows a slideshow of images with fancy smooth transitions, using the Javascript effects framework jQuery UI.
